Not to sound disrespectful Ian_Chimp but that seems like a strange thing to sayā¦? Iām sure it isnāt your intention, but it comes across a bit controlling.
Youāre very helpful in a lot of posts and help guide people to becoming better forum users but this one just seems a tad too much. The emojis are there for a reason so itās someoneās choice to use them or notā¦
Hope you donāt mind me saying, Iād have private messaged you if there was that option. I donāt mean to offend is basically what Iām trying to say!

Thatās okay. We all have different opinions. 
Just to clarify, I think emojis are fine. 
I even like big emojis . But one of the quirks of the new forum is that if you drop a normal sized emoji in a group of three or less it automatically turns them giant. Sometimes you want that, other times itād be better if they were just normal emojis. The tips in this post give you more control over when you āgo bigā
I use all the formatting at some point, so I appreciate that itās fun and useful, but I think it should flavour the post rather than become the post. I think the emphasis should be on what youāve written, not what youāve used to decorate it. To me, the giant emojis read like ALL CAPS.
But thatās just my opinion though.

Itās not exactly as if weāre running to the opticians with our retinas ablaze because we saw a slightly larger emoji. Plus itās context, if someone uses big heart emojis itās because they are putting across their feelings.

I understand my replies are not ticking everyones boxes and for this I apologise.
I wasnāt aware I was breaking forum rules regarding emoji usage and our replies had to be in a uniformed layout. (Certainly do not use them in every postā¦)
