Also have a think about what's on top, not just those naughty knickers. If you're normally a jeans and blouse/T shirt-sort day to day, then maybe go for a complete contrast; a more severe dark coloured dress that actually covers you, maybe all the way up to a tight neckline, long-sleeved even but figure-hugging, or with a break and then a broad dark fabric band at the neck with a a single faux (or real) pearl detail, then dark stockings (killer) heels or even strappy shoes if you can carry them off, (or stand them). The neck and leg 'straps' could hint at bondage elements while at the same time saying no such thing, and the act of being 'un-peeled' can also be fantastically erotic after the preliminaries of the evening-out.
